Hottest TA instrument acquires German Bahr company

  • Detail

TA instrument merged with German Bahr company, a high temperature thermal analysis manufacturer. On February 15, 2012, Ta, located in New Castle, Delaware, USA, as a joint venture between bentler Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. (Paderborn, Germany), a tier 1 automotive supplier, and instrument company, a major fiber supplier in Sigri group (Wiesbaden, Germany), announced that it had acquired German b-shape-free HR company (H ü llhorst, Germany). BHR company is a professional manufacturer of high-performance high-temperature thermal analysis system. Talking about this acquisition around 2010, Terry Kelly, President of TA instrument, said, "this acquisition further enhances the technical strength of TA instrument and complements the market leading thermal analysis product line of TA instrument. The combination of TA instrument and BHR in technology, as well as the integration in global sales and technical support architecture, will also greatly help scientists to study the characterization of thermophysical properties of high-temperature materials."

The main products of BHR company include: measuring the level of thermal expansion coefficient under high temperature environment with high accuracy, optical and rapid cooling thermal expansion system, high temperature viscometer and high temperature synchronous thermal analyzer. BHR system provides researchers with key information in the research and development of materials, and is widely used in the fields of electronics, energy, automotive and aerospace

these new technologies, combined with the technology and products of ante company previously acquired, have established the leading position of TA instrument in the thermal analysis and mechanical characterization of inorganic materials. Mr. Terry Kelly further said: "In the future, there will be many exciting opportunities to combine the patented technologies of TA and BHR to create more powerful and useful new systems. TA instrument's high-performance thermal analysis system and BHR thermal expansion system, as well as ante's flash diffusion system, which was previously acquired, enable TA instrument to provide scientists with a very competitive series of products for characterization of cement, metal, glass and other inorganic materials."

ta instrument is a subsidiary of water world group, a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It is a leader in thermal analysis, rheology and microcalorimetry instruments. Headquartered in New Castle, Delaware, USA, it has branches in 22 countries around the world
